Snapchat is a popular social media app where users are able to send images that disappear after being viewed. In July 2022, the company reported that they had 347 million daily active users, an increase of 18% from the previous year.
Oxygen Forensic® Detective allows Snapchat data extraction directly from Android and Apple iOS devices. Moreover, investigators can import and parse Snapchat Warrant Returns that include the following information:
- Information about the user account
- Login history
- Private chats, including sent and received media
- Group chats, including sent and received media
Starting with Oxygen Forensic® Detective v.15.1, investigators can now import and parse Snapchat My Data that can be collected using the Snapchat Download My Data function.
How to Import Snapchat My Data
To import Snapchat My Data, click the relevant option under “Downloaded accounts data” on the Home screen and follow the instructions of our Import Wizard.

- the account info
- activity
- chats
- calls
- favorites
- location history
- memories
- search history
- stories
- snaps
- selfies
- highlights
