Why Attend?
This two‐day on-demand training event is geared toward students that have a working familiarity with Oxygen Forensic® Detective. In the growing technological world, the way data is stored on mobile devices is more efficient, adaptable, and readily available at the device and individual application levels. With tens of thousands of applications made for a variety of mobile operating systems, keeping ahead of rapid updates and new application debuts is a seemingly impossible task for any investigator. Then looking at the vast amounts of data available within each application, what is the best way to filter through the madness?
The answer is the SQLite database. An SQLite library implements a self‐contained, transactional SQL database engine that is easily leveraged by the forensic examiner to perform low‐level analysis and data recovery on specified SQLite databases. Join us for a 2‐day instructor‐led in‐person or remote training journey where we demystify low‐level SQLite data analysis and recovery using our built‐in and external SQLite Database Viewers. In this class, you will learn what SQLite is, and how to analyze and perform executable tasks on the many complex tables that make up a single database file to create reportable results. We will deep‐dive into a better understanding of the usefulness and use cases of SQLite scripting to granularize your application‐level analysis.
What is On-Demand?
On-Demand courses are self-paced allowing students to work during their availability and outside of a traditional classroom environment. Lab exercises are built into each course to apply the skills you have learned in a practical investigation.
